Huamwee

Huamwee — A Home Just Below Namsan

Huamwee is a standalone three-story house located just below Namsan, connected by a spiral staircase.

The home combines comfort and openness, featuring a small reading room, a bright living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a yard that flows from the living space, and an upstairs balcony that overlooks it all.

Conveniently accessible — about 20 minutes by bus or 25 minutes on foot from Seoul Station.

The house sits at the edge of Namsan. Head north uphill and you can stroll along the mountain trails, enjoying both greenery and city views. Go west downhill and you’ll find the nostalgic atmosphere of old Korean alleyways and neighborhood shops.

If you take the southeast path, you’ll come across beautifully designed cafes that open up to sweeping views of the Namsan slope — perfect for a short break. Follow the road further and it leads to Haebangchon, a unique destination where old and new Seoul meet.

Whichever direction you choose, sightseeing spots await, so you can choose the experience you prefer.

[Transportation]

Walk down the west downhill and you’ll reach a bus stop that connects to many of Seoul’s major attractions. Within 20–40 minutes by public transport you can easily reach Dongdaemun Market, Namdaemun Market and Sungnyemun Gate, Hongdae, Itaewon, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and more.

There is also a bus stop near Namsan Library, just north of the house, where you can conveniently reach destinations such as Namsan Tower, Haebangchon, Gangnam, Gwanghwamun, and more.

There is no on-site parking; guests who require parking should arrange for nearby parking facilities.
